GridMind offers a free plan for basic monitoring and a Pro plan for advanced optimization, AI features, and multi-system support. Both plans include the iOS app and core dashboard functionality.

Multi-Site Management

Pro users can monitor and control up to 3 energy systems across different locations — for example, a primary home, a vacation cabin, and a rental property. Each site operates completely independently:

Independent vendor connections, automations, optimizer schedule, timezone, and energy provider
Switch between sites instantly from the site picker (web sidebar dropdown or iOS toolbar button)
View combined power and energy data across all locations from the “All Sites” aggregate dashboard
Sites added or removed from the web app sync automatically to the iOS app

Free plan users are limited to 1 site. The Sites section in Settings is always visible so you can see your enrolled systems at a glance.

The annual plan pays for itself if GridMind Optimize earns you more than $30/year in peak export savings — which most users with a time-of-use rate plan see in the first month.

Upgrading to Pro

Sign in at app.gridmindpower.com
Go to Billing in the left sidebar (or click “Upgrade” anywhere)
Select Pro Monthly or Pro Annual
Enter payment details via Stripe’s secure checkout
Pro features activate immediately

Managing Your Subscription

The Billing page shows your current plan and next renewal date, payment method on file, and invoice history (downloadable as PDF).

Changing Plans: You can switch between Monthly and Annual at any time. Switching to Annual takes effect at your next renewal.

Canceling: Click “Cancel Subscription” in Billing. Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. Your data is preserved and you can reactivate at any time.

Reactivating: Click “Reactivate” in Billing if your subscription is in a canceled state. Billing resumes immediately.

Payment & Security

All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)
GridMind never stores your card number or CVV
Receipts are emailed automatically after each billing cycle

Refunds

We don’t offer refunds for partial months or annual plans, but if you experience a billing issue, contact support@gridmindpower.com and we’ll make it right.
