Kia Integration

GridMind integrates with Kia Connect to monitor your Kia EV’s battery state, charge status, and estimated range. Start and stop charging, set your charge limit, and track how many miles your solar panels have powered — all from the GridMind dashboard.

Prerequisites

Kia Connect account with your vehicle registered
Kia Connect subscription active (required for remote commands)

Setup

In GridMind, go to Settings → System Management → Add Connection → Kia
Click “Connect with Kia”
Sign in to Kia Connect and authorize GridMind
Your vehicle is automatically detected

Kia Connect may have a 5–10 minute delay in reflecting charge state changes. GridMind polls at smart intervals to minimize API calls while keeping data reasonably fresh.
